About Us
ValkyrieK9 & FIST K9
was born from a shared mission: to build a K9 training company grounded in real-world experience, uncompromising standards, and a commitment to excellence. What started as a conversation between two seasoned professionals quickly evolved into a powerful alliance, blending decades of tactical knowledge, canine development, and field-tested training. The business was founded to serve a critical need — to offer reliable, effective, and ethical K9 training for both working teams and civilian dog owners. Whether it’s detection, protection, or obedience, every program is crafted with one goal in mind: to create capable, confident handlers and dogs who are ready for any challenge. At the heart of this mission is the "Dual Force" — not just a name, but a philosophy. It represents a training approach built on balance: two professionals, two perspectives, one unified standard of excellence
Meet our team

Bradley A. Nodley, ValkyrieK9
Bradley A. Nodley is a seasoned K9 professional, master trainer, and military veteran with over 18 years of experience working with elite canine teams across law enforcement, military, contractor, and civilian sectors. As the founder of ValkyrieK9, Brad has dedicated his career to developing well-rounded, mission-ready dogs capable of performing under pressure — and equally capable of integrating into home life when needed.
Brad’s expertise spans across all areas of K9 work, including dual-purpose patrol, narcotics and explosives detection, article and cadaver searches, and real-world tactical deployment. He has trained, certified, and led teams throughout the U.S. and internationally — most notably assisting in the evaluation and development of K9 programs for Dubai Law Enforcement. His instruction has impacted countless handlers, helping them build confidence, clarity, and consistency in their work.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Brad brings military discipline and structure into every training environment. His time in the service, paired with his K9 certifications through the American Working Dog Association and American K9 Interdiction, give him the rare ability to blend field-tested strategy with modern behavioral science.
Brad has worked with local police departments, large-scale federal agencies, military contractors, and high-profile private clients. He is known not just for his skill in developing dogs — but for his ability to mentor handlers, build complete programs from the ground up, and create lasting, results-driven K9 partnerships.
At ValkyrieK9, Brad’s vision continues to shape the future of K9 training: precise, ethical, effective, and always evolving.

Brandon Clark, FIST K9
Brandon Clark is a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served with the 4th Styker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division - 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, completing a 14-month deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from March 2007- May 2008. That course not only launched his career in canine training but also sparked a powerful friendship and business partnership.
Since then, Brandon has worked a wide range of detection contracts with his K9 partners — Rocco (narcotics) and Ruger (explosives) — including narcotics sweeps at drug rehabilitation centers, explosive and firearms detection at music festivals and concerts, and public venue sweeps at amusement parks and high-traffic events.

Brandon’s combination of military service, federal corrections experience, and K9 handler training gives him a rare perspective in the dog world — one grounded in discipline, responsibility, and real-world performance. Whether he's preparing a working dog for deployment or helping a family train their pup, Brandon’s approach is calm, confident, and results-driven.
